'Although there are several competing versions, this new account from Bamert, by turns opulent and incisive and making the most of the colourful orchestral detail, seems to me to be the best currently available.' BBC Music Magazine |

How do I automatically join lossless tracks seamlessly? |
| Answer |
unfortunately there is no automatic method of joining lossless files seamlessly, but there is a very good free piece of software that will join WAV files which can then be burnt back to CD. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ Please follow the steps below to join the tracks perfectly: 1) Download and install Audacity(1.2.6 or newer) 2) Download the WAV file versions of the 2 lossless tracks that you wish to join 3) Open the tracks in Audacity. (should open in two windows) 4) With 2nd track selected press 'Ctrl A' or from the menu 'Edit-->Select-->All' 5) Press 'Ctrl C' or from the menu 'Edit-->Copy' 6) Select the first track 7) From the menu select 'Edit-->Move Cursor...-->to Track End' 8) Press 'Ctrl V' or from the menu 'Edit-->Paste' 9) From the Menu select 'File-->Export As WAV...' 10) Save the joined Wav File to your computer under a new name, making sure you know where on your system the track is being saved to. Once you have the new joined track you can remove the two separate tracks from the set and burn the entire album to a CD including the joined tracks. This piece of software is very useful for editing music tracks. Incidentally, version 1.2.7 (due for release soon) directly supports editing of WMA files as well. |
