How do I buy an MP3? |

To buy an MP3 first you must log in to your account or register for one if you haven’t done so. Then search for an MP3 using either the ‘MP3 Search’ box, ‘Artist Search’ or ‘Composer Search’.
When you have found the music you are interested in, click on your choice to take you to the MP3 details page where you will see detailed track information.
Once you have made your choice by clicking as many tracks as required in the selection box to the right of the track name, click on the ‘add to basket’ button underneath the album cover. This will take you to your shopping basket, which will show what you have chosen to buy. To buy more MP3 tracks go to ‘continue shopping MP3s’. Clicking on the dustbin logo against each track will remove that item from your shopping basket. You can empty the whole basket by clicking the ‘empty basket’ tab at the bottom.
If you buy more than the price quoted at the top of the page (where it states 'Select all tracks for') worth of music from a CD, it will automatically select, or ‘bundle’, the whole CD contents, as this is the maximum charge Chandos will charge for this MP3 CD.
You can add CDs to your basket and buy both CDs and MP3s. Use the recalculate button if you need to.
To continue shopping go either of the continue shopping buttons and continue the process until you have chosen all of the tracks you wish to purchase and download. If you are using a loyalty point voucher, enter the number in the box indicated at the bottom of the page. Once you have chosen all of your desired tracks, click on the ‘Continue to checkout’ button. On the following page you will see confirmation of your shopping basket and personal details and any loyalty points that you have accumulated. Check and complete (if necessary) all of the details, including communication details so that we may contact you in the event of a query. To continue with your purchase click on ‘Proceed’, which takes you to the secure credit card verification and payment system, which will validate your card for the purchase. Once the sale has been authorized you can download your MP3s and any CDs you purchased will be despatched within 48 hours, unless they were temporarily out of stock. |
